Cantt find Server SDK UI tools

Thomas Bollinger (4651) | asked Jun 03 '09, 8:15 a.m.
Hi,

I wanted to go through the "Getting Started with Jazz Foundation Server SDK (OSGi)" Tutorials in the TeamWiki ( https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/ServerSDKMain ), but already in the "Downloading and Setting Up Server SDK" Section ( https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/ServerSDKDownloadnSetup ) I cant find the Server SDK UI tools mentioned here.

The link in the Wiki seems to link to an IBM internal server ( http://cclbld29.beaverton.ibm.com:8080/integration/foundation.10xx.integration/I20090516-0007/com.ibm.team.jfs.sdk.ide.feature-I20090516-0007.zip ). I searched also in the Foundation 1.0.0.1 M1 and in the 1.0 RC 2 downloads, found everything I needed except the Server SDK UI tools.

Is there any other place I could get it?

Greetings,
Thomas

OSGi version of Server SDK is not available for IBM external yet. Only Pojo version of Server SDK is available externally from IBM right now. You can see how to get it and use it in https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/SetupPojo .

Masaki,

I am internal to IBM and was going through both the POJO and OSGi tutorials mentioned above. I ran into the same problem with both tutorials: the services required were not in the services.xml file on the server.

Please refer to my post earlier http://jazz.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5101&highlight= .

Please let me know if you have any information. Thanks.

I have put a comment to the forum topic.

Basically, you need to download Jazz Foundation 1.0.0.1 as the target server for Server SDK because Jazz Foundation 1.0 (also RTC2.0) doesn't support Jazz Foundation Services which Server SDK needs.

I think we should put the information in the tutorial more explicitly.
