How to create queries that filter on link comments
I am trying to create a query that filters on work item link comments.
For example I want to return all work items that have a related artifact
whos comment starts with "Customer requirement".
Using the RTC 1.0.1.1 client there doesn't seem to be a search attribute
for links. I tried using the "Full text" attribute which the
documentation says "Use this to create a query that searches *all
fields* of work items for a matching text string." but unfortunately
this seems to exclude link comments.
Is there an existing way to search on link comments or should I create a
feature request?
Regards,
Mark.

Patrick,
Thanks. I follwed the "submit a bug or enhancement request" link from
https://jazz.net/projects/rational-team-concert/ and created a new
"Ehancement" item but when I tried to save it said I did not have the
correct license.
Am I doing something wrong?

TITLE: Link Comment to be exposed as a queryable attribute in the query
editor
DESCRIPTION: I would like to create a query that filters on work item
link comments. For example I created "related artifact" link with
comment "Customer requirement FITSnnnn" from work items to a customer
requirements database and I would now like to create a query that shows
all work items that have a link comment starting with "Customer
requirement". This would be useful in collating a list of all customer
items addressed at the end of a release cycle.
Using the RTC 1.0.1.1 client there doesn't seem to be a search attribute
for links and the "Full text" attribute does not work with Link Comments.

Link comments are currently not exposed in the query editor. Please
create an enhancement request, I agree that this would be a useful
addition.

No, there seems to be an issue with the license setup on jazz.net. Every
registered user should be able to create work items there.
I have created
https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/85096
for your request.
