Why would I get a permission error for description field when i'm only trying to add a comment?

I have created a RTC role that has very limited access to workitems, but one thing it should be able to do is add comments.

This is RTC 3.0.1 (upgrade is pending server request)

When I open the ticket with a user and select ONLY the add comment button I receive the following ere trying to save:

Permission Denied. You don't have permission to perform the following actions:

Modify the work item's description (modify/description).

I'm trying to confirm, but I'm not certain even all users of this role are getting this error, but at least 2 are.

The users who are getting these errors are not creating this workitems.

Let me know if there is more info needed.

The only Operation Behaviors I have set  are for going to a closed state, and these are in progress, not going changing states.

Hi,
Check what is your role in that project area. Go to permissions section and select that role.
In the filter, type 'description' and check 'Modify the work item's description'.
