LDAP sync for users who left the firm and the impact on assets.

Sripriya Karimpuzhasriram (134852) | asked Jan 27 '15, 3:48 a.m.
 Hello team,
Our active directory is LDAP. We have custom attributes defined on our assets whose data type is user. (please see screenshot attached).
When users leave the firm, their user names get appended with (Not found). For asset maintenance purposes, when these users are no longer found in LDAP, we want these users to be removed from the application along with their reference in individual assets.

Is this possible?

Please let us know.

Thanks,
Sripriya

This cam up just a few days ago already. See https://jazz.net/forum/questions/172297/is-there-a-way-to-auto-archive-a-user-when-heshe-is-detected-no-longer-on-ldap-by-the-sync

There is no automation for removing these users as of today. You will see the (Not found) postfix in the user name after the sync though, provided they stay in LDAP until the next sync. If you remove them form there, they stay in the Jazz applications - see above.
