We have a category defined for an asset in the following way :
                   Lifecyle Actions
                                    (checkbox) Image
                                                           (checkbox)Provision
                                                                               (radio button) enabled
                                                                               (radio button) disabled
                                                            (checkbox)Clone
                                                                               (radio button) enabled
                                                                               (radio button) disabled      
Once a category is applied to an asset ,we are not able to uncheck it and completely remove it.
It just says that a child item has been selected.

Is the configuration wrong?

we are uisng RAM 7.2.

What version of browser are you using? RAM 7.2 is ancient and it has problems with newer browsers.

Also exactly what level of RAM? Just 7.2 is not sufficient, it could be 7.2, 7.2.0.1, 7.2.0.2, or 7.2.0.2 with a testfix applied. Each is different and we need to know which it is.
