How to configure JRS to display the the Artifacttypes in Choose Artifacts?

I have installes JRS 502 on my system.

The connection is configured. I'm defined as report Manager.
I'm able to run the OOB reports and to configure dashboard widgets.

But what is not working is the creation of new reports.
When I open the "Build", the artifact list is not displayed.,

Any idea where I should start searching?

regards
Guido

I have it installed parallel on a testsystem. It works there.

The main difference I see is on the testsystem I using DCC as datacollector. On the live system, where I have problems, I'm using the old ETL's.

Are the normal RTC out of the box reports working? If yes, then I doubt this is a data missing issue. I know JRS enforces read-access control so only members of the project can see the project data if the project area is not public.

Guido, I would recommend contacting IBM support or contact me and we can setup a live session to investigate.

I think the same. The normal OOB reports are working well.

When I click BUILD, I'm not in a project area. So it should not have to do with permission. It's not showing the artifact types to select them from none of the CLM applications.

Is JRS only taking this data out of DW? Or from where does it load the artifact types?

May you initiate a live meeting from your side for Monday afternoon Europe time/Morning your time?

Hello Guido,

you need to open a PMR and request 5.0.2 iFix001 (with Reports).
It's the same as the 5.0.2 iFix001 on Fix Central but includes patches for DCC and JRS.

And I agree with Jason this should fix your problem.

The Problem is now fixed.

I got the CLM V.5.0.2 ifix001 with Reporting zip file from support and installed the patch on JRS.

Help about:
V.5.0.2: Build ID: JRS_5.0.2-I20141028-2014

V5.0.2-ifix001: Build ID: JRS_5.0.2-I20141215-1849

Thank you
Guido

Hi Guido,

Does the rs.log file have any error messages with more information?
Do you have iFix001 installed? It fixed a problem with the metamodel initialization.

With or without the fixpack, try refreshing the data source. A user with admin privileges must do this.
 1) From the banner menu, click Data Sources.
 2) From the Actions menu beside Rational Data Warehouse, click Edit data source; then, click Refresh. The operation might take a while to complete.
 3) Try building the report again.

Hope that helps,
Jason

Is there a special ifix001 for JRS? I copied the CLM ifix001 zip file into server/patch directory of the JRS profile and restarted the application. But help about of JRS doe not tell anything about ifix001. This works on all other applications.

The refresh has not helped.
