EOL not retained same as in Clearcase after import using ClearCase Synchronizer in RTC 4.0.7

Dear Team,

We are having issue importing files from a Linux VOB to RTC where we want to retain the End Of Line delimiters but it is not same in RTC and Clearcase

After the imports are being done the EOL for few folders of the stream are not same and this is causing major issue.

We followed the same steps as the previous imports for the same stream and it worked well. Please check the link that is being referred and properties used for imports using Synchronizer.
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYMRC_4.0.6/com.ibm.team.connector.scm.cc.doc/topics/t_lineterm.html.
Please also note that the components that is being imported are also shared by other project areas as well.

Thanks
Anbu

I had an email discussion with Anbu.   The key point is that the Synchronizer sets the line ending only when the file is created by the Synchronizer, not when the file is updated by the Synchronizer.   So in order to change the line ending of a file that already exists, you need to use RTC commands to do so.

we have identified the files with EOL errors and writing the script to modify it explicitly.

Thanks
