prevent developers from delivering changes to the project structure

Hi,

Is there a way to prevent developers from adding zFolders to a project?
For instance: the developer should be able to deliver any source into "SRCLIB", but he shouldn't be able to share a source in "MYFOLDER".

Activation of  the "Restrict changes by item name"-precondition doesn't seem to support this?

Regards,
Bernd.

JAZZ DEVELOPER

What do you mean by "share a source in MYFOLDER"?

Are you saying that you want to prevent new files from being added to the directory MYFOLDER (but allow the modification of files that are already there), while allowing new files to be added into SRCLIB?

I don't believe there's a way to prevent this with the supplied advisors. The best approach would be to write your own or open an RFE requesting the feature from IBM.
