 Hi,

We are facing an issue with the Installation Manager which hangs and do not respond when trying to install a new product.

Please find attached the screenshot below and let me know if there are any workaround to this issue.

Hi Anoop,

Which dialog comes last? Are you able to enter your password?

 This remains in the same state and I have to kill the process using task manager.

 The progress information comes first. If I am able to enter the password it will go through fine.

This has happened and I have to start over again and again then to try running the launchpad.

Are you using a master password ... Check it is enabled in the preferences.
To do so:
- start IBM Installation Manager
- go to File->Preferences -> Secure Storage
- uncheck the option Use master password.
Have you tried to not use the launchpad by starting IBM Installation Manager first on its own it is installed (else install it)?
Then point IBM Installation Manager to the repository.config of the RAM setup.

François

 Hi Francois,

The workaround I found is to log in as a different admin user and launch the Installer (launchpad) from the command line and then enter the password.

This way it works.
