In RTC what does WORKITEMS table contain

I am using BIRT 2.6.2 version and RTC 4.0.4 version. What does the table "WORKITEMS" in WORKITEMS_SNAPSHOT contain? Which table should I select to get work item live data with custom attributes of type deliverables .
