In which version of RAM does RTC 3.X ship with

 Hi,

While running  RAM upgrade to 7.5.2.1 during the setup in the screen as shown below it is asking for RTC 3.X.

Want to know in which version of RAM does RTC 3.X ship with or can we download the RTC 3.X zip file separately.

I found the RTC version in the below location

E:\Program Files\IBM\IMShared\native\com.ibm.rtc3.server.setup.win32.3013_1.0.0.RAM7521-I20140513_0709.zip

We will have to copy this zip file over to the new RAM Database Migration location.

E:/Program Files/WebSphere/AppServer/profiles/AppSrv01/config/cells/USTR-ERL-3849Node01Cell/RTC/server1/v3013/jazz/server

Hi Anoop,
You need to make sure that you select the option called "Migration to new application Server" when you install RAM 7.5.2.1 or when you update your existing installation package older than 7.5.1.2.
This should copy the RTC 3 zip (RTC-Server_3013.zip) to the install_dir /ram/apps/was folder.
Here is an example for a new installation:

 Hi Francois,

Thanks

I noticed RTC 3.X getting copied after updating RAM 7.5.1.1 to 7.5.2.1.

During the RAM Migrate Wizard it asks for the RTC 3.X path
ram7521_setup

In order to migrate RTC from 2.X to 4. We are going to need the RTC 3.X and RTC 4.X zip The default locations for the files are Rational_Asset_Manager_install_directory/ram/apps/was.

Navigating to the location above we could see only RTC 4.X zip file not RTC 3.x

My question here is should we download RTC 3.X zip file from the JAZZ.NET Separately or does this version comes by default with any version of RAM ??
