This page: (https://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYMRC_5.0.1/com.ibm.team.jp.jrs.install.doc/topics/t_jrs_prereq_appserver.html) says that JRS V501 must be installed on WAS V8.5 or later.  The Jazz Deployment Wiki says all of RRDI V501 is compatible with WAS 8.0.

We are currently using 8.0.0.7.  I attempted to install JRS before I noticed the note above and no shared library shows up in Step 12 (https://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYMRC_5.0.1/com.ibm.team.jp.jrs.install.doc/topics/t_jrs_on_was.html) while trying to deploy the rs.war file.

A couple questions:
1. Can JRS V501 be installed into WAS prior to 8.5?  Is the Deployment Wiki or the installation instructions correct?
2. If the version of WAS is not the reason, any thoughts on why I would not see any shared libraries listed for Step 12?

Thanks,
Fran

I would go by what is in the Knowledge Center regarding WAS 8.5  However, I think your issue with Step 12 is because of not doing what is in Step 7 of this topic https://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYMRC_5.0.1/com.ibm.team.jp.jrs.install.doc/topics/t_jrs_prereq_appserver.html

You are correct.  I'm not sure how I missed that, but I think I blew right past it when I clicked the link to manually co-install JRS with CLM.

Thanks.
