Work item template, more than Filed Against and Planned For?

Vince Thyng (13723653) | asked Sep 12 '14, 12:03 p.m.
A customer of mine needs to set the Found In field as required, but this breaks their work item templates.  How do you add a field to prompt for with a work item template other than Filed Against and Planned For?  This is on RTC 4.0.4, but I have also tried on 5.0.

I asked this last week and was told that the function didn't exist to allow other attributes.

Thank you Susan.  I will assume that is the answer and have created a work item.  Please vote for it!

For others interested in a work around, I have an idea.  If the requirement to have Found In is moved to be when the work item transitions from New to In Progress, you can force the information to be added at this point and templates will continue to work.
