RQMExcelWordImporter does not close files it opened in a batch export scenario!

 RQMExcelWordImporter does not close the documents it opened in a batch export scenario (export to File / export to Repository) where the mutlitple sheets (or files) to export was mentioned under 'other documents'.

Here is an illustration in an effort to seek inputs to see how this can be evaded? 
Thanks in advance.

a. Specified multiple files (sheets) under 'Other Document' for RQM - export to repository
b. Export complete! but the files are left open. (It gets messy when files to export are in tune of 50 - 100).

 Yes Sunil, this is expected behavior. Currently we need to manually close the documents
