Is it possible to copy Test Cases from one Project Area to a second one by query?

 CLM 4.0.4 using RQMCopyUtility

Is there a way to copy Test Cases using a shared query, instead of all or specific ones?

Not using a query but you can copy a specific test case using the -id/-artifactId argument (see https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RQMCopyUtility#Argument_Reference).  Have you considered copying the test case in the RQM UI (see https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/topic/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/c_copy_overview.html).
