Not able to connect RTC visual studio2010 client

Hi,
Not able to connect RTC visual studio2010 client.  
getting below error CRRTC8500e SERVER ERROR, CRJAZ2384E can not connect to the repository, nested exception.
We have proxy on this server. we are able to connect through web browser.
Hot to by pass proxy in RTC visual studio2010 client?

What version of RTC are you using? What is the rest of the error message? You might also want to check your JDK security settings.

Thanks for earlier, 
1. version is RTC 4.0.1
 2.  when i click on details they given exception type: com.ibm.team.repository.TeamRepositoryException
     Eception message: Unexpected end of file from server.
3. Can you help  How to check JDK security settings.

can you give me the string you are using for the url resolution please you might want to check the proxy server settings how did you configure the proxy in Eclipse? what userid/password did they use? Window->Preferences->General->Network->https->.....url, port, userid and password Eclipse does not use the browser proxy configuration

Can you elaborate below question? Can you give me the string you are using for the url resolution please? For remaining your questions, Ans: I hv to configure proxy to RTC visual studio client not eclipse client. RTC eclipse client i am able to configure & it's working fine.
