Okay; on further investigation looks like the following Jazz and Technotes have a clue to it. But this requires a server downtime and I am not sure how safe this is to try on a Production environment (I am worried about the smooth re-integration of Jazz with LDAP after changes are made as this can impact all users if there are issues with Jazz/LDAP synch later) - https://jazz.net/forum/questions/117302/how-do-i-remove-a-duplicate-userid |

There is a switch that can be set to ignore case sensitivity. Is that on?
You might be able to get rid of it by changing the user ID see tech-note mentioned in http://rsjazz.wordpress.com/2012/10/12/changing-the-jazz-user-id-using-the-rtc-plain-java-client-libraries/ . Mind the artifacts associated with the user ID you remove. |
