Reports - All Workitems by Owner

Does anyone know how to change the number of colors in this report ? Today the report is limited to the default number of colors available. You can only see 9 people and the rest get grouped into other for a total of 10. I would like to be able to see a graph by owner. This report seems useless if you have more then 9 people working on a project.

Can you please post a screenshot of the report showing this behaviour,
so I'm sure I know what you mean?

Thanks,

It sounds like you are talking about the Work Item Statistics viewlet within the Dashboard.

Is this correct? If so, can you tell me what grouping parameter you selected in the viewlet settings area?

Issue #1: Colours

A random colour palette is used for grouping parameters involving users (e.g. "Owned By"). In 2.0, it should cycle through about 20 distinct colours before reusing them again (if the number of groups exceeds 20). Unfortunately, this is not configurable in 2.0

Issue #2: "Other" grouping bucket

This is used to manage the real estate available to the viewlet. If all values were rendered in a small area, the charting engined would create an unreadable chart (too tightly packed).
To see more of the chart, zoom the viewlet. Otherwise, create a dashboard tab with 2 or 1 columns and minimize the left navigational pane and add the viewlet there and it will always be larger and contain the most values.
