Burn-Up Chart

Minto Tsai (2683) | asked Apr 06 '09, 12:32 p.m.
A burn-up chart shows how much work is done. In addition it shows how much work is in the project as a whole.

Does RTC plan on having burn-up charts?

By work, do you mean hours of work like in the burndown report or work item counts?

burn-up should on the most basic form deal with story points. as the sprint/iteration goes then each additional story closed adds to the burn-up. ideally at the end of each sprint the team and the product owner can view how much work has been done and (if all of the remaining items in the backlog have been allocated story points) how much remains to be tackled.

if my understanding of the burn-up is not accurate then feel free to correct me.

ciao!
