Can a Build Forge 8 Management Console use a Version 7 License Server?

We're installing Build Forge 8 Management Console on a Windows Machine. The license server is running on another machine and is the version which was installed with Build Forge 7.1.2. Will this work or will the license server have to be replaced with the latest version:

IBM® Rational® License Key ServerVersion 8.1.4

The requirements for the license server haven't changed since 7.x. You will be able to use your existing license server.
