When 2 users are updating the same RTC dashboard, the first one to save (user1) forces the second one (user2) to refresh before saving. By doing this, user2 loses any dashboard changes thay have been working on. 
Is there a way to:
- have warning informing soeone else is editing or
- have some kind of dashboard "checkout" or edit lock" with a message ?

There is no ability to checkout or lock the dashboard. I would recommend you open up an Enhancement request for this feature.
