Importing older version in repository after importing most recent ones

Enric Navarro (111) | asked Apr 14 '14, 10:54 a.m.
We are planning to make an import from a different source repository to RTC.
We need to make the import of the most recent versions in RTC, and probably, later, the older versions from the original repository.  So, it's an import process that we want to start at some point in history and import the older stuff later.

Is any option to do this ?   Have all the versions to be imported in chronological order or can be different ?

Thanks in advance.

You can import the older versions whenever you want, but you cannot make those older versions look like they were the ancestors (in history) of the versions you already imported.  Another way to say this is that you can always add another branch of a give file directory, but there is no way in RTC to add a new predecessor to an existing version.
