upgrading 4.0 to 4.06

Terry Roberts (1824) | asked Mar 12 '14, 7:55 p.m.
  Hi,

I am trying to do a silent install on Linux according to these instructions:

https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/SilentInstallOnLinux

I can download CLM-Web-Installer-Linux-4.0.6.zip from the JAZZ website
However, I cannot find where to download JTS-CCM-QM-repo-4.0.6.zip.

I am now trying to set the repository location in the silent-install-server.xml to point to https://jazz.net/downloads/clm/4.0.6/4.0.6/install-repository/clm-offerings/repository/repository.config
However, this requires some authentication.

I found another website http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21576781
indicating how I do the authentication.

What am I supposed to do to  upgrade JAZZ ?
Why is it so bloody hard.

the zip download is there (all downloads)

https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/4.0.6/JTS-CCM-QM-RM-repo-4.0.6.zip

you will have to logon to download.
you also need the web installer, just to get the response file

then u need IM with the response file to install.

yes, headless it is quite a chore.

and that is to get the new product files installed, and from there you still have to do the upgrade procedure..
