RRC artifacts can be seen on a baseline, pre-dated their creation time ?

Am trying to track down a deleted RRC artifact to view the content to recreate it in lieu of unavailable restore feature.

Kept backdated the baseline further and further to go back past its deletion time. But what was surprising was the fact that 2 of its siblings, created at the same time, 1 day after the backdated baseline, still showed up.

RRC artifacts can be seen on a baseline pre-dated their creation time ?

Looking for artifact CR60 (ID= 1060):
  • Both artifacts CR59 (ID= 1059) and CR61 (ID= 1061) were created on Mar 20, 2013 at 08:00:14
  • Assume deleted CR60 (ID= 1060) also created on Mar 20, 2013 at 08:00:14
  • Create backdated baselines
  • Even back to 1 day before that creation date/time, both artifacts CR59 (ID= 1059) and CR61 (ID= 1061) were still seen on baseline 20130319_0800 19 March 2013 08:00

I think you can first check whether the artifacts in question are base artifacts or module artifacts. There is a chance that a base artifact was created way back, then added to a module (and a new module artifact would be created with the same ID), then removed from the module (the module artifact would be deleted, but the base artifact may or may not be deleted depending the chosen option).

If it's not something like that, I will be very worried since the baseline cannot be trusted. Open a PMR if that's the case.

We are not using any module or collection, at least not yet. It is indeed worrisome, it seemed to have worked past deletion date, but for artifacts to still show up past their creation date ... :(
