RTC Unable to amend specific fields within a specific work item

Hi,

We have a specific work item which does not allow a few specific fields to be amended.  The fields in question are shown on the work item, but it does not allow them to be selected. 

There is another work item with the same status and this does allow the fields to be amended. 

It is possible the fields were added to the presentation after the work item was created, but I have synchorised to ensure the attributes are updated.

Any suggestions?

Do these fields show any value? What is shown in query results?

There is no value shown in these fields. If queried they shown "None"

Are these work items which show different results of the same work item type? If they are different, I would compare their editor presentations, attribute properties (if different attributes) and workflows.

Is 'None' a default value of the field in question? The text is displayed in black and not grey, right?
