Migrating Workitem with attachment from Serena TeamTrack to RTC

1	Pradeep Basnet (60●1●12●20) \| asked Feb 10 '14, 3:40 p.m. We are migrating Serena TeamTrack work items which have attachments to RCT 4.0.5. Is there any guidance on migrating work item with attachment from Serena TeamTrack to RTC? Thanks.

Hi Pradeep,
RTC only support the work items migration from Bugzilla and Rational ClearQuest. For other systems, you can migrate the work items using a csv file.
However you can not import the attachment by default. But you can have a look http://rsjazz.wordpress.com/2012/08/01/uploading-attachments-to-work-items/ . It provides a sample code about how to use Java API to upload attachments to work items.

Also, if Serena TeamTrack uses OSLC, you can link it to RTC work items and avoid any migration efforts (unless you are removing TeamTrack all together)
