Hi All,

    I was Looking to configure the email settings in RTC 4.0.5,help me in step by step procedure.

Hi Sumant Renukarya,
 
                Thank you . I had done all the steps from the ibm/infocenter document ,when i click on send test email i am getting the following error.


Exception reading response; nested exception is: java.net. <wbr> SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

- Are you able to connect to/ping/telnet to SMTP server from your JTS server? 

- Do you have a firewall between JTS and SMTP server? If so, is the port open to connect to SMTP server? 

- Do a telnet <mailserver> <port_number> from the JTS server.
Port_number is if you just allowed SSL connection via a specific port on the mail server. 

Lastly, what is the error message you see in ccm.log, jts.log just after trying to send a test e-mail and it fails?
