Flag when constraint is violated not working

I am in a formal project.
I have a plan item with at least one child (execution item).
The plan item has a constraint type: "finish no later than" and a constraint date.

Now I would like the plan item to be flagged in my plan whenever the original estimate of the children changes AND the new schedule of the children violates this constraint. How can this be achieved?

Using the obvious condition "constraintType: finish No Later Than" seems not to work, it never shows a flag.

Lothar, have you added the plan check display option? Similar to view as tree, plan checks can be configured in the plan view.
