Is there a way to delete multiple records in Clearquest?
Hello,
Currently we need to save space on the database server, and we need to delete some records and its attachments, based on a certain query.
Is there a way to do it, deleting mutiple records, using the application? Or we have to do it through the database tools.
We are using ClearQuest 7.1.1 and Microsoft SQL server 2005.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Mari
To delete records from a ClearQuest database, the DELETE action must exist in the record type(s) of the schema. This will allow users to select the Delete action and delete records one by one or do a batch delete. This must be done from the ClearQuest client and cannot be done from CQ web.
It is not supported to delete records manually from the database back-end (unless advised by IBM Rational Support)
