Hi

Using RTC 4.0.3 - and noticed some different entries in the settings.

There is the license checkout time which is (I assume) how long the floating license is held if there is no activity (min value is 2 hours).

There are also two other values I am curious about:

Floating License Denial Timeout
Floating license refresh rate (in ms)

Does anyone have a nice explanation of these different settings?

many thanks

anthony

The License Denial Timeout is the amount of time in ms to cache a floating license lease renewal denial. This is 60,000 ms which is one minute. This means for the one minute duration, the user cannot request another floating license since it has been denied. The minimum for this setting is 30,000 or 30 seconds.

There is a License checkout time which is 7200 is 120 minutes (2 hours). You are correct in that this is the minimum time for how long a floating license can be checked out.
