After importing the document as rich text artifact, unable to mark each row in the table as a  requirement as the entire table is taken as single requirement. How to go about this?

If the table is part of a rich text artifact, you can edit the artifact, select the text within a cell and "Save Selection as New Artifact and Link" (or Insert instead of Link if you prefer).  (This doesn't work with selection across table cells.)
