When is CLM professional prefered over Practitioner ?

Under what situations does CLM professional prefered over practitioner ? Why would one look at a CLM professional license instead of a Practitioner license ?

I understand practitioner was released in 4.0 onwards.

The way practitioner works as I understand is that one can move seemlessly between RQM , RTC , RRC as they have already checked out a CLM license.

How difference is a professional license from above ?

I'm not sure what you mean by "CLM Professional" as there is no license by this name, but please refer to the following  article for comparison of Practitioner to all the other CAL types available:
