RTC Enhancement Suggestion - Highlight Mandatory Fields missing data. Is this already being considered?

I have raised an enhancement request - URL Below.

Text is:

New enhancement for consideration: When you try save a Work Item and you are missing one of more mandatory fields, then highlight the missing fields (e.g. by change of background colour, or surronding in a red border) and move focus to the first one that was found to be missing.
If the missing attribute is on a different tab, then change to that tab and move focus to it.
Preference is to first move focus to attributes on the current tab and only move to another if the current tab is fully satisfied.
(Similar can be implemented for fields that fail validation too.)
(Alternatively, the message has the missing or invalid attribute name hotlinked and focus is moved to it when the user clicks the hotlink).

Can anyone advise if this is an enhancement suggestion that has been put forward before?

Do you think it's a good idea?

there was an enhancement to highlight tabs that have missing mandatory attributes in red, much like ClearQuest does it:

There is an alternative approach requested as well, give the name of the tab in the error message:

I somehow like this idea less.

Please note that missing attributes are in fact indicated by a red asterisk.

The red asterisk highlights all mandatory attributes, but there is no clear indication of which one is missing the data which would be useful in a busy presentation with lots of fields. (Would also like fields failing validation to be similarly highlighted).

Highlighting of tabs with missing attributes is certainly a help... if the actual attribute itself were also highlighted then job done.
