I am trying to create / edit queries and I get the above error. There was a similar error posted and I have followed the intstruction for that but still no joy. Can someone advise ?   

IE8 - cache cleared

RTV version 2.0.0.1

I searched through existing defects and found a few that look similar to your issue:

It looks like the issue has been fixed in newer versions.  You may be able to work around the issue by using a newer version of IE, using a different browser, or using the Eclipse client. 

In https://jazz.net/forum/questions/22465/rqm-error-quoterror-cant-move-focus-to-the-control, someone suggests clearing the IE7 cache, restarting the browser and then trying again,
