RQM RPE character limitation

RQM 4.0.1, RPE 1.2.0.1, all on Windows

We are facing following problem:
If a description of a manual test step exceeds 249 characters, only those characters are printed to an RPE report.

Descriptions of TestCase or so can be exported with more than 249, but not for test steps.

Has anyone the same experiences?
Is there any workaround?

Please go to RQM administration page, under the 'Advanced Properties', set 'Rich text threshold' to a value larger than 250. The size of characters of step description that can be output to RPE report is decided by this value.
