Is there any future plans for Snapshots?

Jorge Valdeiglesias (541823) | asked Jul 30 '13, 9:55 a.m.

I've tried the snapshots function for our test plans and test cases as a version control tool. For what I’ve seen is pretty good but miss just a bit of functionality to be finished.

The most important feature missing is the ability to create a test plan or a series of test cases from the snapshot with the exact same description that it had at the moment of the picture. Now you can do it but you have to do it one by one and you also have to create the test script which in a plan of 500 Test Cases is hard.

I wonder if the snapshot feature is planned to be improved and be used as a version control system for RQM

Hello Jorge,
I am not aware of any plans.  however if you have a suggestion for enhancements, please do the following:
1. On the top right hand side of this page, select "My Stuff" link
2. On the following page select the workItem tab
3. Select open a defect...you will need to relog in with your jazz credentials
4. Modify the type of the work item to enhancement and fill out the Wi with what  your suggestions.
