Save category seems to be ignored using Team areas

RQM 4.0.2, WAS, W2k8 server

We are facing a problem with permission.
We've started with one project area without team-area support.
The Test Team Member have the permission to create&edit category values, but they are not allowed to create&edit categories itselfs.
Everything was fine.

After activating Team ares, those permissions seems to be ignored, so a Test Team Member can create his own categories.

Has anyone faced the same problem?
Any hints to resolve this issue?

greetings georg.

Hi Georg, I see the "Save Category" and "Save Category Value"  permissions are controlled at Project area level and NOT at Team Area level. So, you may want to double check the permissions at the Project area level.
For more details, take a look at QM role-based permissions.
However, if you still see the discrepancy and the configuration at your end is right, then you probably should open a PMR with Rational Support.

The permissions on Project area level are "None" for Test Team Member on "Save category"

That is interesting. Is it happening for multiple users ? Another thing that comes on my mind is that if the user is an administrator of the project the permissions might gets overridden.

Yes, this happens for several users, which were not allowed to save categories before activating team area support.

And no,, they don't have administrative prviliges.
