Doors NG is not accepting login credentials

Hi,

I have installed DOORS Next Generation and I am able to access web client of DOORS Next Generation but when I try to login to rich client, it doesn't accept either admin or any normal user credentials.

pls help.

I didn't see any errors, its not accepting the credentials. Are the login credentials same as rm web?

Yes, they are the same as the rm web credentials

If you have not disabled "Default admin access" during setup of the server, you can still login using ADMIN/ADMIN (which is the default user password created). Otherwise, you need the Administrator account details that you entered  during setup

tried both default and administrator credentials, nothing is accepted.

 config.ini details:

home=C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\DOORSNGC
serverurl=https://demotools.wipro.com:9443/rm

Hello Kameswari,

Is demotools.wipro.com added to your hosts file (located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc folder)?

You need to add the ip address of this m/c and this name to the hosts file. A sample entry looks as below

9.175.228.124 ed-dev-lab.rrs.server

I am also facing the similar issue. Unable to login rich client. My credentials are not accepted.

pls help.

I found this issue only on server machine. Try installing doors client in any other machine (where server is not installed) , it worked for me.

Hello

When you use DNG from another m/c, what serverurl is given in the config.ini?

And when you use DNG from the server, what serverurl is given in the config.ini?
