Should I choose RRDI or Insight? What data is not extracted by java etl?

I know Insight is capable for customize ETL but RRDI is free. 
We are implement CLM and want some customized report, I call this first phase and only 2 or 3 team will try the pilot . So I think we can ignore the performance problem.
In so called first phase, I am afraid some customized attribute or data is not in ODS, so RRDI can do nothing for these data. I tried RRC/RTC customized attribute and check the jave etl extract the data so RRDI report can use it.
Any one can figure out what data is not extract by java etl?
