Cross project area "Links" queries

I have 2 project areas on the same repository that I can LINK two work items (ResolvedBy/Resolves is the link we use).  I can create a query in project area A that in the query, has  a "ResolvedBy" attribute that then I can pick attributes.  However, the attributes listed are those in THIS project area, not in the project area that my work items are linked into. 

Is there any way to do this?  I suspect not, but I wanted to ask anyway.

I believe this falls under "cross project queriues", which are not implemented, but they are a very popular request:
