JAZZ DEVELOPER
 I believe you are talking about Jazz server (as in dB which contains the description column attribute?)
If yes, there is no such direct approach..

However much better and easier option is to use the RQMAPI at the link below.. This should provide you feeds to get to the description field of the test case..

As a workaround you can use RQMAPI. Here is an example:

https://clm502rtc:9443/qm/service/com.ibm.rqm.integration.service.IIntegrationService/resources/jpbankqm/testscript?fields=feed/entry/content/testscript/(title|description)

Please see the testscript.png image.

In the left side you will see the list of TestScript (with title and description) from the project alias "jpbankqm"
