Synchronizing changes to LDAP group with RAM User group

Sripriya Karimpuzhasriram (134852) | asked Jun 10 '13, 11:55 p.m.

Hello RAM Development team,

We have set up LDAP during Server setup configuration.

We followed the following steps  to configure users for a user group -

On the Users tab for a specific community, select New User Group... part way down the page, select the Create link next to "Public Group:". Search for the LDAP group name in the search and select it. This will bind the LDAP group to the RAM user group you are creating. Assign the roles and click OK. This will assign the same roles to all the people in that group.

Then, we made changes (added a few users, and remove some others) to the LDAP group, however, the changes are not getting reflected in RAM User group to which this LDAP group is bound. Please advise.

We are using RAM 7.5.0.2

Thanks!

Regards,

Sripriya

Wait a week. There is a job that runs every Saturday that syncs up changes from LDAP into RAM.

Hi Rich,

Can you please advise if there is a mechanism to force this update rather than waiting 1 week?

Thanks,
-Angela
