RRC 4.0.1 and Embedded Images

Hi

My client is creating RRC artifacts and embedding images with them. He has noticed that when he embeds the image it creates an image artifact alongside the RRC artifact.

Is there any way to stop the separate image artifact being created.

Thanks

Len

Hi Len,

When you upload an image to the server for embedding, part of that process creates a new image artifact.  During the upload you can specify where you want that artifact created, so it doesn't necessarily need to be right alongside the RRC artifact.  Unfortunately, there is no way to embed an image that is not within the RRC project, so if the image has not already been uploaded, RRC will do that for you as part of the embedding process.

Regards,

Jason

Hi,

Is there gone be in near future Atlassian Confluence like copy/paste embedded image functionality? Without needed upload images first?

Regards,
Simo
