Design Manager or CLM401 AIX
I need to install Design Manager (Software Architect) on an existing CLM environment.
Current environment
- CLM 401 (CCM,QM and RM) installed on separated servers (Operating system AIX v601)
- middleware : Websphere 7.0.27, DB2 9.7 (db2 is on a dedicated server)
Which is the suggestion for the installation since AIX system is not supported, what about database installation/configuration?
Many thanks in advance

Anna,
as far as I can tell, Design Manager can be registered to an existing JTS (provided compatible versions). If DM does not support AIX, it would be possible to install it on a separate, supported environment and register it to your JTS to be able to work with the other applications. This is like in any other distributed environment scenario. DM can run an a different architecture, as long as it is supported and you can keep the others where they are today.
