Work Item Count is Wrong in Sprint Plan

Chris Barlock (18814738) | asked Apr 19 '13, 4:47 p.m.
Yesterday, I opened our current sprint plan and saw that the closed/open work item counts were 10/0.  I checked other plans and they have similar numbers.  These plans have several hundred work items in them!  I contacted our RTC admin, thinking that Something Horrible had happened to our project.  He was seeing the correct numbers.  While I was working with him, I closed and reopened one of the plans -- and the numbers were fine!  All of the plans were "fixed."

Today, the problem is back.  I have tried restarting Eclipse and using a new workspace.  Neither fixed the problem.  I see a number of exceptions in the log:

!ENTRY com.ibm.team.repository.common.transport.AbstractElementDescriptor 4 1000 2013-04-10 20:45:21.813
!MESSAGE Found two dtoEvolution elements with the same componentVersion value in bundle com.ibm.team.scm.common.

    at java.util.TreeMap.put(TreeMap.java:542)
    at java.util.TreeSet.add(TreeSet.java:266)

With a much longer stack trace -- but they may not be related to the problem.  I don't get one of these every time I open a sprint plan.

Any ideas on what might be causing this bad behavior?

Chris

I would open a defect - either here on jazz.net or with IBM support.  Make sure you include the version of RTC you are using.

What is the version of your RTC Eclipse client and RTC server?

Chris Barlock commented Apr 19 '13, 7:26 p.m.

4.0.1 for both.

I don't think I'd call this an answer -- just the next step.
