Hi,

I'm running a custom Insight report from IE 8 (Insight 1.0.1.1).  If I try to display that report in Excel format, I get a couple of new IE Windows pop up, then disappear, then nothing.
Anyone else come across this behaviour?

Thanks,
Jill

I've seen this, and it was because of IE settings that don't allow downloads by default.  Alter/set the following conditions in Internet Explorer as follows:
  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click 'Tools' -> 'Internet Options..'
  3. Click the 'Security' tab
  4. Click on 'Internet'
  5. Click 'Custom Level...'
  6. Ensure the 'Automatic prompting for file downloads' and 'File download' are enabled.
  7. Click 'OK'
  8. Repeat for 'Intranet' and 'Trusted Sites'
