I'm getting an error while trying to complete the setup of the rational insight 1.1.1 tool.
The setup wizard was going fine, but in the step #7 (Build and Deploy Reporting Components), bullet "Wait for the report server to initialize.." I got the error (error description: java.lang.NullPointerException).
My environment description is:
  • OS: Windows2008 64-bits.
  • WAS: 8.5 32-bits
  • DB2: 64-bits
  • Insight: v1.1.1 32-bits
And working all locally.
Any help?? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the post reply! I look your links and still having the issue...
I couldn't find the cogserver.log file.. :S
Maybe more information could help, I'm not trying to update an RRDI.. but yes, I can't use the default port (9080), so in the setup (step #4) I validate that it can work in port 9081. And I created (using the wizard) the profile for that port.
This can be the reason why the wizard can't deploy the application? how can i change the default port?
From the technote:
The jazzns_config.xml is almost empty.. doesn't show anything about ports.. is that ok?
