Synchronize Attributes of thousands of Work Items: Is there an easy way?
Hi,
I need to do this because there will be changes on the process source configuration on my project. Some fields on the work items has a change of attribute ID. We usually do it on the Application, select multiple work items, Right click>>Synchronize attributes. Is there any other way to do this for thousands of work items? All answers will be appreciated. Thanks! |

One can also visit the Work Item section of the Process Configuration page. On each defined work item type there is a link just above the table of attributes "check attribute usage in repository". This will let you synchronize all of them in one go. But be sure to increase the Repository Timeout before going there (I think the work will complete, but the client will give up and claim error)
