Hi there

I've modified the build-in reqspec.dta file and would like to use also a custom word template.

I know that i can take the word file from the server adapt it and distribute it. What I did.
But I would prefer to do it the other way. Use our template and adapt it to work with RRDG.

But I have no clue how RRDG finds where it need to write the Title, the author etc. The Word document does not use any properties as far as I could see.

Any idea??

Thanks
erwin

 Hi Erwin,
That is done using bookmarks in Word.
You have to create a bookmark in your Word template and then tell RPE element to use that bookmark (using the target region property, which is located under  Properties -> Formatting -> common).
Any elements generated by the RPE object will be placed where the bookmark is, also you can define the names that you want for the bookmarks
