BIRT Reports from Non Jazz Repositories?

Is it possible to create BIRT reports from non-Jazz repositories and deploytem them as new report resources so new reports can be created and they can be viewed from say an RTC Team Dashboard?  The project we work in uses RTC for planning and development. The output of our development provides applications which use DB2 back-end databases to mine and manipulate large amounts of data. We would like to be able to view reports from the data sets in the data store from our Jazz Team Dashboard. Can we utilize the BIRT report viewer shipped and available with 4.0.1? If yes, then what's the secret?

@Thomas, deploying Birt reports that use other non-Jazz Data Sources to RTC is not possible. You can only run reports from the DW or DataMart which contains Jazz related information.
